Film buffs can look forward to some riveting footage from the Alpine world in the Cinema Lounge in the Breithorn tunnel. Definitely worth keeping in mind for a rainy day.

• The modern Matterhorn glacier paradise restaurant is the perfect place for lovers of good food. Specialities of the Valais region, an open-view kitchen and panoramic windows guarantee all-round enjoyment.

• And in the Peak Shop next door you can buy souvenirs of the region for your nearest and dearest.

• Snow-tubing run at 3,883 m promises high thrills. The summit station of Matterhorn glacier paradise offers the activity all summer. Snow-tubes available free of charge at the peak.

• Interpreters will be with you for the journey to the Peak, then you are on your own to enjoy your time.

2. Mountain Carts in the Morning and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise in the Afternoon.

​

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Morning:

• We start our adventure to get to the Mountain Carts by first taking a train to Sunnegga (approx. 10 minutes) and then a cable car to Blauherd. Here we will be at an elevation of 2571 m. 

• A short walk to the Mountain Cart Pick Up area, where we will get instruction and safety gear and start our ride down the mountain (Following a gravel and Paved Trail). You control your speed! Check out this video of the ride:

• After our Mountain Cart rides, enjoy the area of Sunegga, where there is plenty of hiking trails, a glacier lake where you can take a quick swim, and a restaurant for a quick bite!

• Then we head back to Zermatt, where you can continue to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise or enjoy time on your own. OR, stay and enjoy the beautiful area of Sunegga, and head back to Zermatt later on your own.
