Overview

Live life like an Alaskan gold rush prospector on a four-hour adventure that includes a scenic drive along Klondike Highway, gold panning, plus a barbecue salmon lunch. Travel though history to the 1890s to learn about the Klondike Gold Rush. Enjoy views from the Klondike Highway of the White pass valley, the same route stampeders once took around the snow-capped Coast Mountains, deep gorges and plunging waterfalls, to the peak of White Pass Summit. Listen to intriguing tales of these determined people's plight from a costumed cast member who will show you around a gold rush trail camp nestled at the base of the White Pass valley. Learn to pan for gold like a true prospector and take home all your hard work. Satisfy your appetite with a spread of Alaskan Salmon, Cheechako chicken, Chilkoot baked beans, Tongass wild-rice pilaf, hot chowder, a selection of sides, salads, beverages and homemade blueberry cake for dessert.
