Highlights

  • Your exciting Alaskan adventure begins with a scenic, narrated ride to Auke Bay (Don D. Statter Harbor). Upon your arrival, meet with your captain/crew and board your vessel - keep your camera close, since you never know when the perfect photo-op will arise!
  • Relax in a heated cabin with a hot cup of coffee and enjoy the views, as you cruise through Alaska's Inside Passage, learn about the local history and watch for wildlife, including an abundant humpback whale population, sea lions, bald eagles and various marine birds.
  • Once you arrive at the island, stroll along a scenic boardwalk, as you admire the amazing views of Lynn Canal (one of the longest and deepest fjords in the world) and the surrounding islands and waterways.
  • After, continue to Yankee Cove and enjoy another narrated drive to the Brotherhood Bridge viewpoint, where if the weather permits, you can appreciate unparalleled views of the Mendenhall Glacier, an almost 14-mile-long mass of ice and an incredible reminder of nature’s frigid splendor.
