We have MANY Activities planned during our stay in Bruges! On Monday, we want to explore the city as a group, and know everyone has different "Energy Levels" so we want you to have choices!

 

Please look over the schedule and make a couple choices below (so we know how many to plan for at each event).

7:00 AM - 9:00 AM - Breakfast at the Hotel

9:20 AM - Meet in the Lobby to walk to our CHOCOLATE MAKING WORKSHOP!

​

10:00 AM - CHOCOLATE MAKING WORKSHOP! 

• Short introduction about chocolate, cocoa, and what we will be doing during this workshop

• We split into stations and dive into the chocolate-making process.

• temper the chocolate, create chocolate-coated biscuits, make mendiants, drink delicious homemade hot chocolate, and finally fill a beautiful golden box with your creations so you can take them with you to eat later.

• You will receive assistance from start to finish.

• No previous cooking experience needed. 

• Included in this workshop: cooking ware, assistance from the instructor, hot chocolate, aprons.

12:00 PM - City Tour by Mini Bus (50 minutes)

• See the most picturesque sites of the city in one of our mini buses

• Panoramic view

• Comments and Explanations Interpreted at stops along the way by our Wonderful Interpreters!

1:00 PM - Walking Tour (approx. 90-105 mins.) or choose a shorter version (approx. 45-60 mins.)

• Stroll along the medieval streets and alleys in the inner town whilst soaking up the particular atmosphere.

• Discover world famous treasures and sights (shorter tour will not see all below):

  • Lake of Love

  • the Beguinage

  • the Church of Our Lady

  • the canals

  • the Burg Square with the Town Hall

  • the Basilica of the Holy Blood

  • the Market Square with its Belfry.

• This wonderful historic walk will show you why Bruges merits its place on the Unesco World Heritage List.

Immediately After the Walking Tour - Time for some Belgian Friets!​

• Enjoy an order of Belgian Friets (fries) from a local Friet Restaurant

• Select a sauce to dip them in

• Enjoy a beverage of your choice

• Sit and enjoy nearby, or walk and eat them

• The rest of the afternoon is for you to enjoy!

After Friets - Free Time to Explore or Go Back to the Hotel to Relax

5:30 pm - GROUP DINNER at Ribs n' Beer Bruges​

• Address of the Restaurant - Ezelstraat 50 8000 Bruges Belgium

• Menu: Ribs (All you can eat) with Potato Wedges and Cole Slaw and Beer

• Or choose another option from the menu (Gluten Free, Vegan, and Vegetarian Options Available)

• Meet us there if you are out in town exploring.

• OR if at the Hotel - Meet in the lobby at 5:00 pm to leave for the Restaurant
